Business decision and a safely delivered change

I was sitting with a CIO of a large bank, and he asked a simple question: “If claude/cursor/Codex can already write code and generate tests, why do we need MSOCK?”

It is a fair question. My response begins with another question:

What happens between a business decision and a safely delivered change in a bank?

Consider changing a payment cut-off rule.

Writing the code is one part. The team must also understand the existing rules, identify affected customer journeys, trace dependencies across payments and ledgers, assess compliance implications, select regression tests, and prepare operations for release.
Faster code generation helps. Delivery also depends on how quickly and reliably the enterprise can answer these questions.

That is the distinction between accelerating software development and improving the entire Product Delivery Lifecycle.

We are building MSOCK as an enterprise AI infrastructure layer that makes enterprise knowledge computational.

Its five engines connect understanding to execution:
– SOCK connects knowledge across business, operations and technology.
– Spatial makes that knowledge and its relationships visible.
– Accurate Blast Radius identifies the dependencies and consequences of a proposed change.
– Autonomous Engineering uses that context to support execution.
– Governance provides a Command Center for oversight, evidence and control.

The value proposition is to reduce repeated discovery, loss of intent across handoffs, uncertain impact assessments and rework throughout delivery.

MSOCK coexists with copilots, agents and models, giving them connected enterprise context.

RDBMS made data computational.
MSOCK makes enterprise knowledge computational.

For CIOs and GCC leaders, the measure of success must extend beyond code produced:
We have experienced a 50% reduction in business intent-to-production and a 60% reduction in effort.

Build. Run. Change. Modernise.

My Diary – Principle based City Design

Walking through Manhattan today, I was struck by how a decision taken in 1811 still shapes the city’s everyday life. The Commissioners’ Plan laid out 155 numbered streets and 12 avenues across much of what was then rural Manhattan.

Principles based design

Principle 1: Avenues 100 ft wide

Principle 2: Streets 60 wide and one street 100 ft after every 8-10 streets

Principle 3: Each block is 200 ft by 600 to 950 ft. Based on avenues length.

Principle 4: Each property block 25ft by 100 ft. In Chennai city design the plot size was 40 ft by 60 ft called ‘one Ground unit’.

It was surprising that all skyscrapers came by consolidating small plots into big spaces of today. I can see many original houses existing on 25 ft by 100 ft spaces.

I may be wrong in my interpretation. New Yorkers please correct me.

Interesting city design based on principles rather than evolution which helped NY to become Long lasting design, vibrant economic global hub and catering to Civilisational growth after 200 years.

Major Breakthrough

MSOCK adds a Connected and Contextual Knowledge layer to Anthropic Claude Code for Financial Services. MSOCK makes an end of Coding as we know it and reduces the software development effort by one-third.

Purple Fabric research team worked with the Deep Domain Intellect Research team to create a Multi-Dimensional Multi-Layer System of Connected Knowledge(MSOCK) to help system designers, business analysts, and consultants to convert their intent into a fully coded application.

MSOCK layer creates an opportunity to convert billions of dollars in investment that financial institutions have made into 3X productivity by its 5-engine technology stack. MSOCK coexists with Claude code and Cursor. It adds a 4th layer, i.e., the Enterprise trusted Knowledge layer to the AI architecture.

MSOCK launched internally for over 141 projects since the breakthrough in May and brought a 21 Dimensional Living Spatial map of software applications like a GPS, to accurately calculate the blast radius of any innovation or regulatory change. MSOCK also comes with 4 types of CNC machines – MSOCK Build Machine, MSOCK Run Machine, MSOCK Change Machine, and MSOCK Modernise Machine—with a complete Command Center.

Launched at GFF, we have received more than 200 enquiries for next-stage dialogue in just 3 days.

For more information on MSOCK, you can visit https://lnkd.in/g2aN98Bh

Global Fintech Fest 2026

Intellect Design Arena Ltd has unveiled MSOCK at Global Fintech Fest2026.

I am at Booth JF5 at GFF, enjoying the response to what we believe is the critical 4th layer of AI-First Banking: GPU Layer. LLM Layer. Data Layer. Knowledge Layer (MSOCK). Application Layer.

The 4th layer, the Knowledge Layer, is the KEY to accurate AI that delivers real business impact.

Great conversations at JF5. Looking forward to many more.

From Organised Data to Computable Knowledge: The Next Foundation for Enterprise AI

RDBMS Organised Data. MSOCK Organises Knowledge.

Fifty years ago, enterprises faced a fundamental problem. They had enormous amounts of data, but it was fragmented and difficult for applications to use. RDBMS changed that. It organised data, established relationships and made data computable. It became foundational to enterprise computing.

Today, AI faces a similar problem – with knowledge.

Banks have decades of knowledge distributed across code, databases, APIs, business processes, policies, regulations, documents and, importantly, people’s minds.
Foundation models are extraordinarily intelligent. But they do not inherently understand these relationships.

AI knows the world. But it doesn’t know your bank.

It may know how to write code. But does it know why a transaction rule was written 12 years ago? Which customer journey depends on a legacy service? Or what else could break if one API is changed?

This led us to a simple thought: RDBMS made enterprise data computable. Can we make enterprise knowledge computable?

That question led our Applied AI Research Lab to build MSOCK – Multi-Dimension, Multi-Layer System of Connected Knowledge.

It connects enterprise knowledge across Business, Operations & Technology, making it connected, computable and visual through a 21D Visual Spatial Graph.

We believe this connected knowledge layer can make foundation models from Anthropic and OpenAI more accurate and context-aware for enterprise use in financial services. We have filed 39 patents covering the technology behind MSOCK. Today, at Global Fintech Fest, we are introducing MSOCK to the world for the first time.

This takes us to the next question.
Intelligence answers “How?”
Wisdom answers “Should?”

For AI to transform a mission-critical bank safely, it needs more than the ability to generate answers. It needs the context to understand the impact of those answers.

That is where I believe Cognitive Engineering begins. And I see an opportunity here that is larger than MSOCK itself.

For four decades, India built a remarkable global technology industry through engineering talent, execution capability and cost advantage.

AI gives India an opportunity to change that operating model – from cost arbitrage to knowledge-led engineering; from exporting capacity to exporting intellect. Can India move from building the world’s software to building the intelligence that transforms it?

I believe we can. MSOCK is our contribution to that journey.

I have shared the thinking behind MSOCK in the Open Letter attached to this post published in The Economic Times today

I would particularly value the perspectives of banking CIOs, CTOs, AI architects, researchers and our technology ecosystem partners as we explore this next operating model together.

If RDBMS became fundamental to the data-driven enterprise, can connected knowledge become equally fundamental to the AI-governed enterprise?

79 Years of Independence: Erasing the Invisible Lines

Last night, I was watching the movie ‘Wapas Aaunga’. Naseeruddin Shah plays a 95-year-old man on his deathbed, still carrying within him the pain and memories of Partition.

It stayed with me.

The movie was a reminder that our Independence did not arrive without enormous human pain.

The Radcliffe Line suddenly divided lands, villages, communities and families. Extremely poor planning – an example of complete design and planning failure.

Millions of people found themselves on the wrong side of a newly drawn border and had to leave behind homes, livelihoods, relationships and memories built over generations.

And yet, from that extraordinary pain emerged an extraordinary gift to our generation — Freedom.

Most of us were not born in 1947. Perhaps we can never fully understand what Independence meant to those who had lived without it.

For us, freedom has become almost invisible.

We wake up with the freedom to dream. We have the freedom to choose our education, profession and enterprise. We have the freedom to design our future. We have the freedom to disagree, experiment, fail, rebuild and choose again.

But as social impact leaders associated with Mission Samriddhi or otherwise, perhaps Independence Day should provoke a different question:

Have all the Radcliffe Lines really disappeared?

Today, nobody is drawing a physical line through our villages. But millions of invisible lines still divide community, society and opportunity.

These lines are not drawn on maps.

They are drawn by unequal access to knowledge, opportunity, confidence, institutions and economic capability.

Perhaps this is the unfinished journey of Independence.

79 years later, Independence leaves us with a more personal question:

Which invisible lines still determine who gets to dream, who gets to choose, and who gets to design their own future?

That question stayed with me after the movie ended last night. I hope it stays with us a little longer.

Happy Independence Day.

Purple Fabric: Engineering the Future of Production-Grade Enterprise AI

This indeed where Purple Fabric – Open Business Impact AI platform comes into play.

Enterprise AI is not models or Agents but it is an Engineering Problem. There are 8 engineering disciplines are required for solving 64 friction points in journey of Day 2 enterprise AI (Production grade) from Day 1 (POC grade).

  1. Data Engineering
  2. Knowledge Engineering
  3. Digital Expert (Multi agents) Engineering
  4. Experience Engineering
  5. Risk and Governance Engineering
  6. Agents entitlements and security engineering
  7. Deployment Engineering
  8. Finops engineering (Token-economics)

Only few large banks with deep pockets can build their own platforms. It requires 18 different teams to synthesize and build the platform. They are spending over 50 million dollars plus over last 3 years.

At Intellect we have built Purple Fabric with 250 AI researchers over last 9 years.

Thanks for sharing your observations.
