Designing for Impact – A Journey of Purpose and Possibilities

When you walk through a village in India, or through the corridors of a modern bank, you notice the same thing, a quiet gap between what is, and what could be.

That gap has been my inspiration for the past forty years.

In this conversation with Sneha Jha at ETCIO, I shared what this journey has taught me, why intellectual property is not a product of ambition but of culture, why AI must walk hand-in-hand with human intelligence, why design matters more than technology, and why simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

We spoke about how ideas born in silence – of Design Thinking, of First Principles, of Systems Thinking, have allowed us to build platforms like eMACH.ai and Purple Fabric that simplify financial systems, reduce waste, and augment human potential.

For me, innovation has never been about chasing the next big thing. It has always been about observing deeply, understanding unstated needs, and designing thoughtfully to serve them, whether for a customer, a bank, or a village.

If these ideas resonate with you, I invite you to listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gyFegWdU

As always, I look forward to hearing your thoughts, because it is in dialogue that new ideas emerge.

I learnt that total blood sugar in human body is just 5 grams ie one teaspoon of sugar. Just 1/8 of Coca-Cola can.

The Liver is most precision organ which maintains it within find range of 4 grams to 6 grams in blood quantity of half bucket ie 7 litres.

Business Impact AI Masterclass

We announced the Open Business Impact AI platform on 12th May in the UK through a full-page ad in the Financial Times and on 26th May in India through a 2-page ad in The Economic Times. I want to share the thrill of my Research AI team, who have worked tirelessly since 2015 across New York, London, and Chennai to design pathbreaking True Business Impact AI for enterprises.

Purple Fabric has invented three fundamental concepts based on First Principle Thinking.
Concept 1: Enterprise Knowledge Garden alongside Data Lakes.
Concept 2: Enterprise Digital Experts not just agents.
Concept 3: EnterpriseGPT is not just ChatGPT

I am very proud of my applied research team, who understood the obstacles in driving true benefits from large investments committed by enterprises in terms of,
a) Security of Enterprise knowledge
b) Security, entitlements and Traceability across LLMs and internal knowledge
c) Unpredictable costs and closed choice of LLMs.

They designed Full Business Impact AI as a platform on which your business teams can Reimagine Customer, Reimagine Products, Reimagine Operations and Reimagine Risks. Your own tech teams or your IT service providers can help create business impact Use Cases after Bootcamps on Purple Fabric.

I would like to share my joy, learnings, and journey of building the complete platform Purple Fabric—World First Open Business Impact AI with industry business leaders on Wednesday, 18th June, at 2:00 PM UK time, 5:00 PM Middle East time, and 6:30 PM India Time through a Business Impact AI Masterclass. We have limited seats for this Masterclass for effective leaders who want to reimagine their workplace with Purple Fabric.

Four-fold path to business impact AI

PF-Business Impact #2
Four-fold path to business impact AI

For all the relentlessly paced developments in AI, when it comes to enterprise, there is an unwavering path to business impact AI. Holistic first principles rigour will avoid the traps of ad hoc pilots, ineffective agents, spiralling LLM costs, increased exposure risk, and bloated tech budgets.

  1. Right knowledge
  2. Right agents
  3. Right models for right task
  4. Right governance

Right knowledge path. Acknowledge your competitive advantage currently siloed and shackled. Your enterprise knowledge built over time and constantly being refreshed, needs to be curated for dynamic use across the organisation. Your personalized Enterprise Knowledge Garden (PF EKG) will form the backbone of high-quality Gen AI response, and reasoning & decision support. Delivered through the organisation by your enterpriseGPT.

Right agents path. Appreciate the difference between point solutions AI tools, copilots & assistants for personal productivity projects and enterprise AI. Generic agents unable to securely integrate with enterprise knowledge are of little use for enterprise. Design and deploy your Enterprise Digital Experts (PF EDE) with relevant skills and perspective, delivering business-grade accuracy of over 95%. Augment your managers to rescale effectiveness.

Right models path. Understand all models are not equal. You must be able to exercise freedom of choice to select the right mix of models to address specific tasks. Always benchmark against constraints of accuracy, speed and cost. Your LLM Optimisation Hub (PF MOH) delivers the model-agnostic approach critical for business impact AI. Learn more about how this plays out in a leading global enterprise where the PF Complaint Resolution Digital Expert uses 13 Agents and 5 LLMs, with dynamic benchmarking against the triple AI constraints.

Right governance path. Realise the criticality of complete AI governance at one place. Your enterprise governance (PF Govern) proactively mitigates the real risk in deploying AI using multiple LLM models and multiple agents, as well as the recurring issue of uncapped costs of LLM usage. You need relentless enterprise governance across dimensions of monitoring, traceability, diagnostics, explainabilty, compliance and security.

Your enterprise AI is only as good as your platform. Purple Fabric is the world’s first open business impact AI platform. Built on four proprietary technology stacks. The platform integrates the power of Data-as-a-Service with Knowledge-as-a-Service to drive higher productivity and performance of human talent in the enterprise. Purple Fabric already has 68 ready-to-use digital experts to jumpstart enterprise AI initiatives. Experience the exponential power of the augmented enterprise when AI is harnessed right.

With Purple Fabric you’re on the right path to business impact AI.
