My Diary – Finding Beauty and Commerce in the Wonders of Nature

Nature

Nature is a true example of Beauty unlimited – you just needs an eye to observe from design of plants, flowers, fruits, animals, blue sky with colours, Oceans, multiple weathers.

Nature is Pure Science known or unknown – you just need a curious and persistent mind to connect the dots into algorithms or phenomenons.

Nature produces entire Commerce for keeping all humans engage in our lives. It’s only we design derivatives of original products from metal to food to create so called ‘economic value’.

Observations in Children’s Entertainment: Exploring the Impact of Fight Scenes on Young Minds

Yesterday, I questioned the fight scenes even in animated movies made for children on Facebook and LinkedIn. I received a lot of insights from your comments. I am documenting a few of the observations here.

1. Fight scenes train a child’s mind for better defence.
2. Fight scenes build ‘violence’ as a key method of resolving any difference of opinions/perspectives/expectations.
3. Violence sells better among audiences which means we as developed human being still love ‘animal’ instinct of physical force over logical conversations (dialogue) to resolve difference of opinions/perspectives.

Somewhere I am confused with our ‘expressed’ behaviour i.e. we must live with love as a key uniting force of humanity vs. ‘suppressed’ behaviour of liking physical dominance.

Please share your thoughts on this dichotomy of our behaviours.

Exploring Forgotten Periods of Prosperity in History for Lessons on Holistic Well-being and Sustainable Societies

We have studied major events in history books. Most of the events are recorded around major wars and change of power. In Indian history, we remember Alexander’s (Sikandar) war and the birth of Chandragupta and then Ashoka Kalinga’s war which was in 2 BC. Then lots of wars between the 11th century till our recent independence.

Between these invasions there were long periods of great prosperity for 300 to 600 years (12 generations to 24 generations) which are not at all documented in our history. These periods are much longer than the entire industrial transformation over the last 175 years.

What were those successes?
A. Systems – Political, Economic, Social
B. Processes – Education and Health
C. Governance – Empowerment and conflict resolutions

The modern ‘ism’ like Communism and Capitalism have completed just over 150 to 200 years and they start showing that it’s cracking.

How do we retrieve those knowledge systems that may have possible learnings of holistic happiness built around spirituality, expertise and interdependent livelihoods with lesser greed, selfishness, ego and violence?

Celebrating 2622th Birth Anniversary of Mahavir

Why do we call Mahavir a Spiritual Saint as a ‘Courageous Soldier’? His search or research for 12 years in jungles of Vihar now Bihar is to find true happiness outside materialistic pleasures. His search was for finding ‘The True Truth’. He discovered that the journey of true truth starts from inside self. That internal journey of understanding self requires extreme courage and bravery and that must be reason for naming him ‘Mahavir’.

The inner journey of self has been simplified by him in 3 simple words besides 357 sutras written in Tatvarthsutra. Ahimsa, Anekantvaad and Aprigrah are those 3 simple words which enables one to start this inward journey.

As explained in last year post

  • A1. Ahimsa – no hurt to anyone even at Thinking level before speaking or Action. This is starting point of collaboration.
  • A2. Anekantwad – acceptance of multiple views and respect them. This is starting point of creativity.
  • A3. Aprigrah – Non-attachment to specific offering or object but just commited to purpose. The purity of purpose removes all the fears and provide extreme courage to take on any initiatives.
  • These 3 principles are foundational signposts for inner journey to begin supported by Satya (Principle centric), Sanyam (Perseverance), Tap (deep research) and Tyaag(Letting go or letting go ego).
  • My mind was connecting Inspirational Institutional Leadership with above seven teachings of Mahavir – Collaboration, Creativity, Purpose, Principle centric, Perseverance, Research and letting go ego.
  • Just a point of reflection and connecting self leadership of spirituality and self Leadership of human centric contribution.

9 Day Long Emach.ai Summit With 325 Senior Intellect Leaders And Advisors

We just finished the 9 day long eMACH.ai Summit with 325 Senior Intellect leaders and Advisors at our corporate headquarters. The eMACH Summit 2024 was beautifully designed with three blocks of learning, collaborating, and alignment on the exciting journey of Intellect 3.0. 92 delegates from 25 countries participated in two boot camps and the final summit.

We had two Bootcamps – Composable Technologies for Finance Platform of eMACH using Turmeric and Contextual Technologies using holistic Enterprise Business impact Purple Fabric Platform.

In Turmeric Bootcamp, all 300 delegates composed a full loan repayment user journey from Data design, Process design, Ruled design, Event design, API design and interaction design on their own laptop simultaneously. These include global Sales heads to corporate management heads who had not touched or experienced programming in their life. This Bootcamp tested the power of Simplicity of Turmeric where UX, API, and Orchestration can be imagined, coded and tested on a True composable platform.

In Purple Fabric Platform Bootcamp, the 300 senior leaders understand the 9 technologies of AI under one roof, from ingestion and extraction to Gen AI. By 3rd day, they built their own Expert Agents in the area of their choice. The winners of the innovation challenge are not AI architects but the Regional Sales team and Business teams. The First principle thinking applied in designing designing full scale Business Impact AI platform was just magical. The true excitement of using AI for Enterprise Operations simplicity is still palpable.

The True Sustainability Example : The Life Around Ganges For 3000 Years

Today it’s a most beautiful Sunday of my life on Ganges. It’s a cloudy day. There were rains in night. I am on ‘cruise on Ganges’ moving south and east towards Kolkata. There is vast expanse of mesmerising Ganga or Hooghly river. Both sides of River have history of last 3000 years of Civilisation.

I am experiencing a very diffferent feeling. The knowledge creation, knowledge Abstraction and knowledge application for better Humanity has happened here thru these waters. From Budha to Mahaveer or the sages and authors of Vedas / Upanishads all flown thru these waters or banks of these Ganges. Varanasi to Pataliputra to VarDhaman nagar have witnesssed the growth and decline of Humanity.

During last 6 hundred years, the banks of Ganges have seen the Portuguese coming for trading in early 1500s, followed by British, followed by Dutch, followed by French and then followed by Danish. Five European cultures and their knowledge also helped this region to grow.

The banks of Ganga learnt the design of 46 alphabets of Devanagari script which made the documentation of knowledge possible. It helped in developing sophisticated algorithms of constructing words and sentences, which we called Sanskrit Language. It was to document the ‘Sanskriti’ (संस्कृति) thru out the human development process. It saw the understanding of Farming and clothing. It saw the innovation of Converting a roadside plant with fibre like fruit to convert into threads. Then it started wiring threads into weaving which then forms the basis of Clothing. These clothing then started innovating with colours, prints and embroidery. The 700 Threads per inch became finest form of artistry and many such innovations have come around Ganga and continuing.

Celebrating the 11th Anniversary of Transformation Design Center for Digital and Cognitive Enterprises – 8012 Fintech Design Center

This week, we are celebrating the 11th Anniversary of Transformation Design Center for Digital and Cognitive Enterprises-8012FT, Holistic Design Thinking Space.

We started the Transformative journey of designing a Product and Technology Institution from the service company Polaris since 2009.

During 2009 and 2011, I designed the first Design the Thinking program Unmukt, focused on understanding the art and Science of Human Thinking and trained 1100+ associates at Polaris. We wanted to change the culture of the company from Order Takers to Problem Solvers to Agenda Setters. The initial impact was there but not long-lasting. Then we decided to create an ‘Inspirational Space’ to drive understanding true Customer Desirability by designing Personna Maps and Empathy Maps, observing Patterns and Anti-patterns and then Connecting the dots. 8012 FT, Transformation Design Center for Digital and Cognitive Enterprise, spread over a big expanse of 30,000 Sqft, took 15 months to design on paper by 10 cross-functional designers and 9 months to construct and finish. During 15 months of the Design phase, the team discarded 3 fully designed architecture drawings, including models, before agreeing on the 4th design. It required extreme patience from the design team.

This led to the demerging of Polaris into Polaris as a Software services company and Intellect Design as a Product and technology company in 2014. Here, the journey of ‘Intellect Design’ begins to lead BankTech Wave 5 based on Cloud technology and AI. We launched the First Principle-based Financial Tech Stack, eMACH.ai, the most Comprehensive, Composable & Contextual, last year. eMACH.ai Financial Tech Stack has over 329 Microservices, 535 events and 1757 curated assets for Core Banking, Lending, Wealth, Transaction Banking, Insurance for banks & financial institutions. We take pride that Intellect technology has been adopted by over 300+ global customers across 57 countries.

Today, when we are celebrating our 11th Anniversary, we are satisfied that this centre has contributed to conducting around 500+ DT workshops for Intellect Customers, Corporations, Management and Engineering Faculties, and Government bodies like AICTE, FinBlue, @NIC, NITTTR, DIET, Startup TN, Tamilnadu Industries etc., Academic institutions like Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Anna University, IIIT Ranchi, IIITDM, Krea University, BIM, SOIL, SRM University, NIET, Madras School of Social Work (MSSW), RMK College and Corporates like Confederation of Indian Industry, IDP, Cavincare, Maverick Systems, Indian Oil Corporation & more.

The center helped in designing holistic Rural development under Mission Samriddhi by conducting over 150 design Thinking sesions on Leadership, Social, Economic, Ecological, Institutional development. It also hosted more than 25000 Transformative Experience Walks.

Very satisfying 11 years of Self-transformation, Intellect transformation, Technology transformation and ecosystem design.

It’s been 11 years since we inaugurated 8012 FT – the Transformation Design Center for Driving Leadership and Enterprise Transformation.

To commemorate this milestone, I am taking a 90-minute online session on “Design The Thinking Primer” free for all Business Leaders, Small and Medium-Size Companies and Startups.
